Amaris Bravo, Principal
Amaris Bravo was born and raised in Puerto Rico. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Pre-School and Elementary Education from The University of Puerto Rico, and her master’s degree from the University of Texas at Arlington. She's been married to her husband, Miguel, since 2002, and has two beautiful children, Victoria and Ian.
Mrs. Bravo moved to Texas in 2000, where she started teaching for Irving ISD. Mrs. Bravo taught at Good Elementary for 6 years, John Haley for 4 years, and Keyes Elementary for 1 year as an Academic Specialist.
In 2013, Mrs. Bravo started as an assistant principal at Good Elementary and then moved in 2018 to Thomas Haley Elementary.
Mrs. Bravo is looking forward to continuing to serve the John Haley family and community, as their principal! Her vision for all Bulldogs is to achieve greatness and DREAM BIG!

Amber Beamon, Assistant Principal
Amber Beamon is a native of Texas. Her educational background includes a Bachelor’s in Sociology from Arizona State University and a Master’s in Educational Administration from Lamar University. She has been in education for 21 years. Within those years, Ms. Beamon has taught first, fourth grade, served as Elementary Assistant Principal in the Hurst Euless Bedford Independent School District and most recently as an Attendance Administrator for our district. When Ms. Beamon is not serving our campus, she loves spending time with her two sons, reading, cycling, and hiking. Ms. Beamon looks forward to working together to foster academic, social, and emotional growth for our students. She truly believes with our combined efforts; we can positively impact every student’s educational journey.

Melissa Fulton, Assistant Principal
Melissa Fulton moved to Texas in 2000 to begin her teaching career. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in education, a Masters in Education with an emphasis on Adapted Physical Education, and eventually took the plunge to earn her Principal certification four years ago.
She has been teaching for 23 years, 22 of those in Irving ISD. She taught for 2 years at Britain Elementary and has proudly called John Haley Elementary her home for the last 20 years; 17 as the PE teacher, and the last 3 as an assistant principal.
Outside of school, Ms. Fulton enjoys spending time with her family, playing catch with her 2 dogs, and going on adventures.
Ms. Fulton looks forward to continuing to serve her family of John Haley students, families, staff members, and community.
