Ashley Boysen, Assistant Principal
Ashley Boysen graduated from Irving High School and went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies at The University of Texas at Arlington. In 2009, she came back to serve Irving ISD as a PreK 4 teacher at Clifton Early Childhood. In her time at Clifton, Mrs. Boysen earned her Masters Degree in Educational Leadership from the University of North Texas at Dallas. She is also certified in Special Education.
Mrs. Boysen has served as a PreK 4 teacher, PreK 3 teacher, and Interventionist. Most recently, she served as the PreK Academic Specialist for the three early childhood campuses in Irving. She is excited to come back ‘home’ where it all began.
A proud product of Irving ISD, Mrs. Boysen is committed to the promise of providing an educational environment that focuses on the whole child. Her beliefs in the importance of early childhood education align with Clifton’s focus on providing foundational academic and social emotional skills that will help students excel in their academic careers. Mrs. Boysen is eager to do her part to continue Irving ISD’s success story.

Leigh Anne McNeese, Principal
Leigh Anne McNeese, Principal
After graduating from Nimitz High School, Leigh Anne McNeese earned a Bachelors of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders and a Masters of Science in Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing at Texas Woman's University. She then attended the University of Texas at Arlington's Educational Leadership Program. After graduation from TWU, she returned to her childhood elementary school, Lee Britain Elementary, as a Deaf Education teacher. While at Britain she also taught kindergarten and third grade, and was the instructional specialist.
In 2009, Mrs. McNeese came to Clifton Early Childhood School as the Assistant Principal/Academic Specialist. In 2014, she made the transition into the principal's role.
She believes that early education is extremely important. At Clifton, the focus in on building the foundational skills that students will need to be successful in kindergarten, as well as the social/emotional skills that children will need to be successful in life.
