2013-2014 Benefits Plan Year
Correction Period August 1st - 15th
To all Irving ISD Benefits Elgible Employees,
September 1, 2013 marks the beginning of the 2013-2014 Benefits Plan year. Any changes made in the Spring will become effective September 1st. If you made no elections, you will not have any benefits for the 2013-2014 Plan year.
August 1st marks the beginning of our Fall correction period. From August 1st -15th, you may change any of your benefit election options; however, all changes made after August 10th will result in a delay in receiving insurance cards prior to September 1st.
Enrollment is conducted online at our benefits website,
Please log into your account to ensure your benefit elections are correct for the upcoming year. After August 15th, you will be allowed to make changes to medical only until August 31st. After this period, unless there is a qualifying event, you will not have the opportunity to make changes until our next annual open enrollment.
For those who may need assistance with the enrollment process, we will be available:
7:30am - 5:30pm Monday - Thursday the week of August 5th and
8:00am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday from August 12th - 31st.
