The 2012-2013 salary for a beginning teacher with a bachelor’s degree is $49,200 and the maximum salary for a veteran teacher with a master’s degree is $71,122.  The IISD continues to provide 100% of the cost of the basic health insurance plan for all employees

All teachers receive laptop computers with connections to the IISD Network.  Students have access to technology through numerous classroom computers, computer labs and mobile multimedia stations.  All students in grades 9-12 have laptop computers for use at home and school during the school year.  In November 2007, $49.8 million in bond funds were approved by Irving ISD voters to be used to fund replacement technology for students and staff members, update server equipment for the IISD Network, and provide technology for new schools and facilities.
