The mission of Irving ISD school nurses is to promote the health, safety, academic success, and lifelong achievement of students.

School nurses play a vital role in the health and well-being of students at school. The registered nurse on every campus works diligently to promote health and safety, provide assessment of actual and potential health problems, provide case management services and collaborates with others to build self care practices for each student requiring nursing services.  Every school nurse (RN) contributes to student academic success by providing necessary medical management and health counseling in order to give a student the opportunity to learn.
