National Hispanic Heritage Month
-
Irving ISD is excited to celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month September 15 through October 15. We honor the rich culture and its people for their contributions to our city, school district and classrooms.
This year, Irving ISD has welcomed more than 33,000 students. Of those students, 73%, or 24,000 students, identify as Hispanic. As a district, we value every one of these students and families for the experiences they share, the culture they practice and the language they speak. Our students’ diversity is our strength!
